SDSU's Dr. Alex DeNoble Is Elected President of National Entrepreneurship Organization
Award-winning professor will take the helm at USASBE in 2015

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today that Dr. Alex DeNoble has been elected to serve as president-elect for the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE). DeNoble, who is the executive director of SDSU's Lavin Entrepreneurship Center, has taught entrepreneurship management at SDSU for the past 30 years.
DeNoble will serve as the organization's president-elect starting January 2014 through January 2015 during which time he will be groomed to take on the responsibilities of the role of president. In January 2015, he will lead USASBE in the role of president until the following year when he becomes the immediate past president. As immediate past president, DeNoble will offer guidance to the organization's newly placed president and president-elect.
Founded in 1981, USASBE bills itself as "the largest independent professional academic organization in the world dedicated to advancing the discipline of entrepreneurship through its stated mission of advancing "knowledge and fostering business development through entrepreneurship education and research."
