SDSU College of Business and Lavin Entrepreneurship Center Kick Off 2014 Speaker Series

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) and the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center announced today that the first in a series of four educational speaking events scheduled for 2014 kicked off on January 28 with a panel session titled "Economic Outlook: A San Diego Business Perspective."
The panel consisted of four local business leaders: George Hadjis, founder and CEO of Oggi's Pizza and Brewing Company; David Marino, executive vice president of Hughes Marino; Susan Salka, CEO, president and director of AMN Healthcare Systems Inc.; and Jerry Sanders, president and CEO of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. The session was moderated by Stuart Sorenson of one of the speaker series sponsors, Duane Morris, LLP.
"San Diego State University, the College of Business Administration and the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center are committed to a deep level of community engagement," said Dr. Gangaram Singh, interim dean of the College of Business Administration. The college and the center have planned future events focused on topics relevant to the local business community which will be presented to the public on a quarterly basis.
