Scot Melland Joins Warburg Pincus As Industry Advisor

Former HR Technology CEO To Identify And Evaluate Investments In HR Software And Services

NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm focused on growth investing, announced the appointment of Scot W. Melland as an Industry Advisor in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications ("TMT") Group. Mr. Melland will work with Warburg Pincus to identify and evaluate global investment opportunities in human resources technology and tech-enabled services.

Mr. Melland has more than two decades of leadership experience in Internet and software, most recently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of DHI Group, Inc., a global online recruiting firm formerly known as Dice Holdings, Inc. While at DHI, Mr. Melland led the company through a public offering and global expansion. Prior to that, Mr. Melland was Co-Founder and CEO of Vcommerce, an ecommerce software company. He also served as Senior Vice President of Interactive Services at Cendant Corporation (now Affinion Group) where he built and managed a portfolio of profitable online businesses, including Match.com and Rent.net. Mr. Melland also held roles at Ameritech (now AT&T) and McKinsey & Company.
