Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Tampa Bay Offer Holiday Cheer and Tools for Life at Clearwater's Winter Wonderland
Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Tampa Bay show Winter Wonderland attendees that the holidays are brighter when you have the tools for living.
CLEARWATER, Fla., Dec. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Though they have seen action at disaster sites from Ground Zero to Indonesia to Japan, for the last two weeks twenty members of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers of Tampa Bay have found people to help a lot closer to home.
These ministers set up their signature yellow tent at the 22nd annual Winter Wonderland in downtown Clearwater. While there, they have helped more than 140 people achieve a better sense of well-being and a more positive outlook on life, says Judy Fagerman, the Director of this chapter.
"Holidays are a special time for giving and compassion," said Fagerman. "I always look forward to this time of year and having this wonderful setting at Winter Wonderland which allows the Scientology Volunteer Ministers the unique opportunity to give to the Community. We are offering Scientology Assists to anyone who wants one."
These Assists, said Ms. Fagerman, are processes that help a person regain communication with their bodies, and have successfully helped people to overcome the stress associated with illness or injury, as well as helping to restore energy to people who are feeling the ill-effects from the season.
"A woman who came to our tent had terrible over back pain and could barely sit," said Ms. Fagerman. "One of our Volunteer Ministers gave her an assist which totally handled the pain. The woman said it was miracle and immediately told other people near the tent to try it. It is amazing what an assist can do."
Per their website, these Volunteer Ministers were established in 1973 by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. The Scientology Volunteer Ministers are trained to help others in many areas of life and provide this assistance free to any who ask for it.
Winter Wonderland is organized every year by the Clearwater Community Volunteers of the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization. The Alpine Village display brings thousands of visitors every year, and also raises funds and donations of food and toys for area charities.
