HOUSTON, Dec. 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SCIENTIFIC DRILLING INTERNATIONAL (SDI) announced Dana Armstrong as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the privately held directional drilling service company.

Dana Armstrong is a financial executive with over 20 years of proven experience and has been nominated for several leadership awards for her superior results in collaboration and execution throughout her tenure.
Prior to SDI, Dana was employed at Ion Geophysical Corporation since 2007, most recently serving as VP & Global Treasurer where she led the international treasury and corporate finance strategy for the $500 million company. From 1998 until 2007, Dana was employed with Thermo Fisher Scientific, holding a variety of key senior financial positions.
Dana Armstrong has a BBA in Accounting, and MBA in Finance both from University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business.
