Scientific Conservation Inc. Names Alan White, Vice President, Corporate Development

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Scientific Conservation Inc. (SCI), a leading provider of energy efficiency, system optimization and Automated Continuous Commissioning (ACC) solutions for the $5 billion commercial building market, today announced the addition of Alan White as Vice President of Corporate Development.  In this role, White will expand SCI's sales and business development team, identify government and utility alliances, and develop technology partnerships in alignment with the company's corporate growth strategies.

White joins the SCI team with 18 years of executive experience in business development and product strategy in both start-up and established companies developing design, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and clean-tech solutions.  Prior to joining SCI, White served as Vice President, Market Development for Coulomb Technologies, a leader in worldwide electric vehicle charging station infrastructure. White was Vice President, Business Development for Daintree Networks, where he drove the change of the small Australian start-up to wireless lighting controls. He was a co-founder of SupplyBase, which pioneered web-based technical sourcing and was sold to i2 Technologies in 2000. He has held senior positions at Autodesk, where he lead next-generation SaaS product direction, and Silicon Graphics at the outset of the computer graphics industry, where he led the manufacturing industry solutions group.
