Schoology Celebrates Users and Staff During Teacher Appreciation Week

NEW YORK, May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 8th, Schoology, the leader in learning management systems (LMS) for education, kicks off a week-long celebration highlighting the impact of educators in their community and beyond. The celebration will take place across Schoology's online communities, sharing stories of impactful educators and giving participants several opportunities to highlight their favorite teachers using #TeacherAppreciationWeek.

"It's important for Schoology to celebrate educators," said Lisa Rudge, Director of Professional Development at Schoology. "Much of the success of Schoology is due to the advocacy and enthusiasm of our users, many of whom are teachers. Kellie Ady is Director of Instructional Strategy at Schoology and a former English teacher and District Instructional Technology Coordinator. She recently made the transition from being a Schoology educator to Schoology employee this school year and is one of 25 percent of Schoology employees that are former educators.

• Join the conversation on Schoology's blog and social channels, using event-specific hashtag #TeacherAppreciationWeek to connect with other educators who are participating
• Participate in the #TeacherAppreciationWeek social giveaway by tweeting and tagging their favorite teacher for a chance to win a $25 gift card
