SchoolMessenger Congratulates Houston ISD for Being Named First Two-Time Broad Prize Winner

LOS GATOS, Calif. and HOUSTON, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SchoolMessenger, the leading provider of communication solutions for education, today congratulated Houston Independent School District (ISD) for winning the 2013 Broad Prize for Urban Education, and for being the first district ever to take home the award on two separate occasions. The Prize, which Houston ISD first won in 2002, is awarded annually to large urban school districts that make substantial academic gains in student achievement and reducing the academic gap.
