School Uniform Supplier French Toast Reports Overwhelming Response to $15,000 Contest
"Show Us The Real 'U' In Uniform" Contest Open Through September 15, 2010
NEW YORK, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading school uniform brand French Toast (www.frenchtoast.com) today announced that it has received a tremendous number of entries for its contest, "Show Us The Real 'U' In Uniform." The contest is open to all children who attend a school with a dress code, and the grand prize is $10,000 in cash, plus $5,000 in school uniform vouchers for the winner's school.
"Now that we're in the final stretch of the back-to-school season, we really want to encourage uniform-wearing children to send in their entries before September 15, 2010," remarked Michael Arking, president of FrenchToast.com. "We encourage kids to log on to www.uinuniform.com, help show the world what makes the special and unique and possibly take home $10,000 in cash."
Video submissions – which must include some footage of the student in his/her school uniform – can be a maximum of two minutes in length. Alternatively, students can submit written essays, which can be a maximum of 300 words and must be accompanied by at least one picture of the child in uniform (maximum of six pictures). To learn more about the contest and to enter, log on to www.uinuniform.com.
On November 1, French Toast will be posting the top 10 submissions online at www.uinuniform.com to let the public vote on which entry is the best. In addition to the grand prize winner, there will be runners-up prizes as well. The grand prize winner will be announced on or around November 30.
"We've seen some great submissions so far, and I'm sure we'll see many more high-quality entries over the next few weeks," opined Arking. "I especially want to thank our many retail partners who have helped to make children and their parents aware of the contest."
