Scholarship America's Inaugural From Dreams to Degrees Event on May 19 to Honor Katie Couric, Donald Graham and GM Foundation

WHO: Scholarship America, the nation's largest nonprofit scholarship organization, along with honorees Katie Couric, Donald Graham, the General Motors Foundation, presenting sponsor Voya Financial and its Chairman & CEO Rodney O. Martin, and emcee Rehema Ellis. Student scholarship recipients will be present to help Scholarship America honor these individuals and organizations.

WHAT: Scholarship America's inaugural From Dreams to Degrees Education Dinner – celebrating college students and those who make their success a reality. This is an open media event.

WHERE: The National Press Club in Washington, D.C. #DreamsToDegrees

WHEN: Tuesday, May 19. Reception begins at 6:00 p.m.; dinner and program at 7:00 p.m.

WHY: The event will honor Katie Couric, journalist and author; Donald Graham, CEO of Graham Holdings Company; and the GM Foundation for their efforts in helping students achieve their education dreams.  Rehema Ellis, NBC national education correspondent, has been tapped to emcee the evening's program, which is chaired by Rodney O. Martin, chairman and CEO of Voya Financial.
