Schneider Electric Ranked a Best Employer in Forbes' America's Best Employers 2016 List
ANDOVER, Mass., March 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, today announced its inclusion in Forbes' America's Best Employers 2016 list.
Ranking the top 500 U.S. employers at large companies, nonprofit institutions and U.S. divisions of multinationals with more than 5,000 employees, the America's Best Employers 2016 list is compiled from anonymous rankings by more than 30,000 employees in an independent survey.
"This award celebrates the talented people that work at Schneider Electric," said Laurent Vernerey, President and Chief Executive Officer, North America Operations, Schneider Electric. "Schneider Electric strives to be a dynamic and responsible company with strong values that foster the development of our people, our communities and our customers to deliver innovative technologies that reshape the world around us and enrich lives."
This ranking builds on the inaugural 2015 list, in which 500 employers were chosen based on an independent survey by Statista.com of 20,000 American employees working for large U.S. companies, institutions and U.S. divisions of international firms with a minimum headcount of 2,500. This year, Forbes will also showcase the top 250 U.S. employers with 1,000 to 5,000 employees and will debut a Best Canadian Employers list.
