BIRMINGHAM, Mich., July 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Schechter Wealth, a third generation wealth advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Stefan Thielen, MSF will be joining the firm as a Wealth Advisor based in Boston. Mr. Thielen specializes in wealth preservation, wealth transfer, estate planning, and charitable planning solutions to meet the needs of high net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.

Mr. Thielen's finance career spans over 20 years, with expertise in tax overlay, charitable gift trusts, private placements, and constructing fully customized, tax-efficient investment solutions for wealthy families and business owners. Prior to joining Schechter, Mr. Thielen served as VP and Relationship Manager at Eaton Vance Managed Investments in Boston, where he specialized in partnering with the nation's largest bank and independent advisor firms.

Mr. Thielen will focus on introducing and educating financial advisors on Schechter's unique wealth generation and tax strategies and opportunities that Schechter brings to the table to help clients.

Mr. Thielen holds a Master's of Science in Finance from Northeastern University and BS, Marketing from Bryant University. He holds Series 7 and 65 licenses and is a level I candidate in the CAIA program, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
