Schaeffler Honored with Quality Award by Nissan North America, Inc.
TROY, Mich., Sept. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Nissan North America, Inc. recently honored Schaeffler – a leading global manufacturer of high-precision automotive products and systems for engines, transmissions and chassis applications – with the top quality award for engine systems.
Schaeffler, which has supplied Nissan for three years, manufactures valve lifters and hydraulic lash adjusters for various Nissan engines and vehicles at its 200,000 square foot Cheraw, S.C. Plant 2. The company delivered more than 24 million products with zero parts per million (PPM) defective.
