SUNDSVALL, Sweden, March 7, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- SCA is publishing its annual and sustainability report for 2022 today. The report sets out how, as Europe's largest private forest owner with the forest as the core of its business, SCA creates stable and profitable value growth over time. The report also covers SCA's high degree of self-sufficiency and investment programme in northern Sweden and the Baltics.
SCA contributes positively to efforts to combat climate change. Through the net uptake of carbon dioxide in its forests, the substitution effect, and low fossil emissions, SCA contributed with a climate benefit of more than 10 million tonnes of carbon dioxide in 2022.
The annual report is available on the SCA website at www.sca.com. The printed annual report will begin to be distributed to shareholders and other stakeholders from the end of March 2023.
