ATLANTA, Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U. S. Small Business Administration has Business Recovery Centers (BRCs) in the New York area to help businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy to apply for low-interest long-term disaster loans for physical damages and working capital.

SBA's Customer Service Representatives are available at these Centers to answer questions about the disaster loan program, and assist business owners in completing their applications.

Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
Additional details on the loan application process can be obtained by calling SBA's Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to [email protected]. Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov. Completed applications may be returned to a recovery center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is December 31, 2012. The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 31, 2013.
