ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the moving of the Oakland County Business Recovery Center to the Oak Park Community Center at 14300 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, MI on Monday, Nov. 3 to assist business owners in applying for low interest disaster loans. These loans are made available due to the SBA disaster declaration as a result of severe storms and flooding on Aug. 11-13, 2014 in Michigan.
This disaster declaration covers Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties in Michigan which are eligible for both physical and economic injury disaster loans from the SBA. Small businesses and most private non-profit organizations in the following adjacent counties are eligible to apply only for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans: Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Monroe, Saint Clair and Washtenaw in Michigan.
Businesses with physical damages or loss of revenue resulting from the recent flooding should seriously consider visiting the Center and applying for an SBA disaster business loan.
