ATLANTA, Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the moving of the Macomb County Business Recovery Center to the Renaissance Unity Church, Gathering Room, 1120 East 11 Mile Road, Warren, MI on Thursday, Nov. 13 to assist business owners in applying for low interest disaster loans. These loans are made available due to the SBA disaster declaration as a result of severe storms and flooding on Aug. 11-13, 2014 in Michigan.
This disaster declaration covers Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties in Michigan which are eligible for both physical and economic injury disaster loans from the SBA. Small businesses and most private non-profit organizations in the following adjacent counties are eligible to apply only for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans: Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Monroe, Saint Clair and Washtenaw in Michigan.
Businesses with physical damages or loss of revenue resulting from the recent flooding should seriously consider visiting the Center and applying for an SBA disaster business loan. "SBA's Customer Service Representatives will be available at the Center to provide program information and assistance in completing disaster loan applications," said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA Field Operations Center East.
