SBA Opens Business Recovery Center in Chinatown Partnership BID

ATLANTA, Nov. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today the opening of a Business Recovery Center at the Chinatown Partnership/BID in New York City.  Businesses with physical damages or loss of revenue caused by Hurricane Sandy should consider visiting the Center and applying for an SBA disaster business loan.  SBA's customer service representatives are available at the Center to answer questions about the disaster loan program and assist business owners in completing their applications.

The Center opens today, until further notice, with location and hours of operation as indicated below:

Opens:   Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 9 a.m.
Hours:    Monday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.

(800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to [email protected].  Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.  Completed applications may be returned to a recovery center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is December 31, 2012. The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 31, 2013.
