ATLANTA, Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Tennessee residents and businesses affected by the severe storms, flooding and heavy rain on August 5-6, now have additional time to get one-on-one assistance in applying for SBA disaster Assistance at the Center located in Washington County. The Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 in recognition of Labor Day and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays
Closed: Sept. 1-3
Reopen: Tuesday, Sept. 4
Closing: Thursday, Sept. 6 at the close of business
Although the Center will cease operations at the close of business Thursday, Sept. 6, applicants may still apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
Individuals and businesses unable to visit the Center can obtain information and loan applications by calling the SBA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing), or by sending an email to [email protected]. Loan applications can also be downloaded from the SBA's website at www.sba.gov. Completed applications should be returned to the Center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is October 15, 2012. The deadline to return economic injury applications is May 16, 2013.
