Small Business Administration announced today that the disaster Centers in Margate City and Paterson, New Jersey will be closed Friday, March 29 and will re-open Monday, April 1. The Centers provide one-on-one assistance to homeowners, renters and business of all sizes seeking disaster assistance for losses caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The Centers will re-open April 1 and the hours are indicated below:
Atlantic County

Hours: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday
Closed: Friday, March 29 only
Passaic County
SBDC in Downtown Paterson

Hours: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday - Friday
Closed: Friday, March 29 only
Survivors may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela or visit one of the local recovery centers for one-on-one assistance.
To be considered for all forms of disaster assistance, applicants should register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by mobile device at m.fema.gov. If online or mobile access is unavailable, applicants should call the FEMA toll-free Helpline at 800-621-3362. Those who use 711-Relay or Video Relay Services should call 800-621-3362. Additional details on the locations of other Disaster Recovery Centers and the loan application process can be obtained by calling the SBA Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is now April 1, 2013.
The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 31, 2013.
