SBA Announces New Operating Hours for the Business Recovery Center

ATLANTA, Oct. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that its Business Recovery Center in Windham, New York will no longer be open on Saturdays, effective immediately.

The Center is located in the Windham Chamber of Commerce, IA Financial Building, 5419 Main Street, Windham, NY  12496. The new hours of operations are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., until further notice.

Anyone unable to visit  the Center may obtain information and loan applications by calling the SBA's Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955 (1-800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to [email protected].  Business loan applications can also be downloaded from the SBA website at www.sba.gov/services/disasterassistance. Completed applications should be returned to the Center or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.

Those affected by this disaster may fill out a loan application online by visiting SBA's website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is October 31, 2011. The deadline to return economic injury applications is May 31, 2012.
