SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet to Address White House Tribal Nations Conference

WASHINGTON, Dec. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On December 3, SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet will deliver remarks at the White House Tribal Nations Conference, addressing nearly 400 tribal leaders and Native-American organization representatives on the vital importance economic development has in strengthening Native American-owned small businesses across the United States.

The conference will continue to build on the President's commitment to strengthen the government-to-government relationship with Indian Country and to help improve the lives of Native Americans.  The SBA works to ensure that American entrepreneurs have the resources they need to make their business dreams a reality as they spur job creation and economic opportunity in their communities.

The White House Tribal Nations Conference will provide leaders from the 566 federally recognized tribes the opportunity to interact directly with the President and members of the White House Council on Native American Affairs.
