Sayles Werbner Founders Again Named Among Dallas' Top Lawyers
DALLAS, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted Dallas trial lawyers Richard A "Dick" Sayles and Mark S. Werbner once again are being recognized among the city's top legal counsel in D Magazine's list of The Best Lawyers in Dallas. The founders of Dallas-based Sayles Werbner earned selection to the 2014 list based on their substantial work in business litigation for individuals and businesses.
Sayles and Werbner have been honored in five consecutive D Magazine lists honoring the city's top lawyers, and both attorneys have been recognized in the 2014 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America based on their expertise in commercial litigation.
During the past year, Sayles, Werbner and firm attorneys helped a group of international terrorism victims win $1.3 million in attorneys' fees as part of the ongoing New York federal lawsuit against Arab Bank over alleged worldwide terrorism funding. The firm also won a hard-fought jury verdict in Fort Worth district court for the victims of a 2010 Colorado bus crash, in addition to filing a significant wrongful death lawsuit on behalf of the children of an oil rig worker who was electrocuted while working in a West Texas oil field.
"Individual recognition on the D Magazine list is something that Mark and I appreciate very much, but we both know this honor would not be possible without the significant contributions from our deep bench of proven attorneys at Sayles Werbner," says Sayles.
To assemble the 2014 list of the city's leading legal experts, D Magazine invited lawyers from across North Texas to nominate their peers based on work they've witnessed firsthand. The nominations then were vetted by a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys before the final selections were made. The complete list of The Best Lawyers in Dallas appears in the May 2014 edition of D Magazine and at http://www.dmagazine.com.
