Savtira Corporation Selects Emerson Network Power for Data Center Infrastructure Solution

TAMPA, Fla., April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Savtira Corporation, a new provider of outsourced Cloud E-Commerce solutions, today announced it has selected Emerson Network Power to provide SmartRow, a standalone data center infrastructure, for the Savtira Cloud E-Commerce platform and Entertainment Distribution Network (EDN).

Emerson Network Power's SmartRow is a unique, standalone data center infrastructure that supports up to 20kW of IT equipment in an enclosed, multi-rack configuration with integrated power, cooling, infrastructure management and fire suppression.  By reducing room modifications required to support IT equipment, the configuration can reduce initial capital costs by about 10 percent.  It can cut ongoing energy costs by up to 30 percent.
