Savigent Software And Factora Announce Strategic Partnership
BLOOMINGTON, Minn., May 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Savigent Software, Inc., a leading provider of event-driven manufacturing operations management software, and Factora, a manufacturing solutions consulting firm, announced that they have formalized a strategic partnership. Factora is now a Savigent Authorized Partner providing solutions consulting, architectural and design services, and professional services on implementation and support of the Savigent technology.
As a Savigent Authorized Partner, Factora will provide manufacturers with top-to-bottom Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) consultation, planning, design and implementation using Savigent's suite of products. This work includes identifying areas for improvement, designing solutions to increase quality and efficiency and implementing those solutions to optimize manufacturing operations.
"We are excited by the opportunity this new partnership represents," says Charles Horth, Factora CEO. "The Savigent platform allows Factora to deliver enterprise class solutions that ensure reliable, repeatable processes, lower cost of ownership and improved ROI. The timing is perfect – Savigent's platform is poised to transform the MES/MOM landscape at a time when many large corporations are in the process of choosing a platform for worldwide rollout. We look forward to playing a key role in that transformation."
Factora has worked with some of the world's best-known manufacturers and serves a wide range of industry verticals including consumer packed goods, discrete manufacturing, and food and beverage. The company will help to expand Savigent Software's presence in North America.
"Our strategic partnership with Factora will be beneficial to Savigent Software, Factora and more importantly, to the many manufacturers we work with," says David Wicker, President and CEO of Savigent Software. "Factora's deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape, their knowledge and breadth of industry expertise, and their technical abilities to design and implement solutions will provide customers with the capability to meet the challenges and demands manufacturers face in today's operating environment. We believe that our software solutions will complement and enhance Factora's offerings to the marketplace."
