SaviCorp Founder and CEO Receives Patent for Innovative Pollution Control System
SaviCorp Founder, CEO, and CTO Serge Monros credited with the creation of innovative Pollution Control System
SANTA ANA, Calif., Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SaviCorp® (OTCPINK: SVMI)
SaviCorp, pioneers in automotive technology innovations and products that reduce harmful emissions and improve fuel efficiency (including its flagship DynoValve®), today announced that the U.S. Patent Office has awarded patent no. 8,360,038 B2 ("Pollution Control System") to SaviCorp Founder and CEO Serge Monros for creating a system that systematically controls a PCV valve assembly which recycles engine fuel by-products, reduces emissions, improves engine performance, and extends engine life.
The application for the patent was filed in March of 2010 and the final patent was issued on January 29, 2013. The patent is one of many from Mr. Monros and underscores his and SaviCorp's commitment to saving the planet, one vehicle, and one fleet, at a time. To view the entire U.S. patent, please click here.
The patent abstract reads as follows:
"The pollution control system includes a PCV valve having an inlet and an outlet adapted to vent blow-by gas out from a combustion engine. A fluid regulator associated with the PCV valve selectively modulates engine vacuum pressure to adjustably increase or decrease a fluid flow rate of blow-by gas venting from the combustion engine. An integral oil trap fluidly coupled to the PCV valve condenses vaporized oil in the blow-by gas into a liquid for re-use in the combustion engine."
"This patent highlights SaviCorp's continued strategic focus on building and developing leading edge technology that dramatically revolutionizes current combustion engine performance," said Serge Monros, Founder, CEO, and CTO of SaviCorp. "The positive effects of cleaner air and increased fuel economy remain my personal passion and the company's focus as we strive to help save our environment for future generations to come. In that spirit, six new provisional applications geared toward such efficiencies have been filed with the U.S. Patent Office in the first two months of 2013 alone."
"With this season's fuel price escalating early across the country, and leading experts in the oil industry and the AAA expecting prices to rise through the spring, our company has redoubled its efforts to ensure that the DynoValve® and related systems are ever-faster getting into the hands (and vehicles) of our consumers," said Victor A. Chu, President of SaviCorp. "Serge continues to deliver highly effective tools that our sales and marketing teams can move into cars and fleets as we aim to strike back at the pump and at pollution nationwide."
