"Sonoma Wine Country Weekend is an unforgettable experience. Not only is it incredibly fun and educational, it's also our best opportunity each year for our wine community to come together and support so many important local charities," said Maureen Cottingham, Sonoma Wine Country Weekend Co-Producer. "Our three-day event is a celebration of the vineyards, wines, cuisine, culture and people that make Sonoma County the ultimate wine country destination."
"The access our guests have to the local producers is what makes this event so unique. The chef who prepared the dish is serving it to you, and vintner who made the wine is pouring it for you," said Honore Comfort, Sonoma Wine Country Weekend Co-Producer. "For three delicious, decadent days, guests experience, up close and personal, Sonoma's full bounty of flavors right in the region where they're produced."
Produced in partnership by the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance and the Sonoma County Vintners, the 2014 Sonoma Wine Country Weekend event features Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Ranch,® Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction at Chateau St. Jean, Sonoma Starlight at Francis Ford Coppola Winery, and an assortment of intimate and exclusive winery lunch and dinner parties at multiple locations throughout Sonoma County.
Proceeds from Sonoma Wine Country Weekend support Sonoma County non-profit organizations supporting children, environment, and health in our local communities. To date, a cumulative total of more than $12 million has been donated directly to Sonoma non-profits by the local wine community.
