Save Mart Supermarkets, S-Mart Foods and Shell Help Central California Customers Earn Fuel Savings at the Pump With Fuel Rewards®
Customers Swipe their NEW Save Mart or S-Mart Rewards Cards at Checkout to Earn Savings on Fuel Redeemable at Participating Shell Stations
MODESTO, Calif., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Save Mart Supermarkets and S-Mart Foods announced that beginning May 9, customers who shop at any of its greater Sacramento-Modesto- Stockton area stores using their new Save Mart or S-Mart Foods Reward Cards can now earn significant discounts on fuel redeemable at participating Shell stations. Shell is the no. 1 selling gasoline brand in the U.S.
The Save Mart and S-Mart Foods Rewards programs are free programs where consumers will earn Fuel Rewards simply by making qualified purchases at store locations. The Save Mart and S-Mart Foods Rewards programs are part of the Fuel Rewards Network™, allowing Save Mart and S-Mart Foods customers to redeem Fuel Rewards at more than 100 participating area Shell stations.
It's Simple...Fill Your Cart then Fill Your Tank.
For every $50 in qualified purchases at Save Mart or S-Mart Foods using the new Save Mart or S-Mart Foods Rewards Cards, a 5 cents per gallon discount on fuel is earned and redeemable on a single fill-up, up to 20 gallons of fuel per purchase. Additionally, Fuel Rewards are cumulative – the more shoppers spend, the more they earn. For example, if a customer spends $100, they will earn a 10 cents per gallon discount, if they spend $150, they earn a 15 cents per gallon discount, etc. Shoppers also don't have to spend $50 in one transaction. Purchases are automatically tracked and each time the $50 threshold is met, another 5 cents per gallon discount on fuel is earned.
"We understand how important it is for our customers to stretch their dollars," said Frank Capps, Chief Sales Officer, Save Mart Supermarkets. "Adding value and savings is an important part of Save Mart Supermarkets and S-Mart Foods commitment to providing our customers the best possible shopping experience through the Fuel Rewards Network."
