Save-A-Lot Opens Its Doors to Grocery Savings in Jacksonville
New food store offers up to 40 percent savings on food compared to conventional grocers
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Save-A-Lot food stores, the nation's leading hard discount grocery chain, today opens its sixth store in Jacksonville, Florida. The company's newest store is located at 8000 Lem Turner Road, Jacksonville, FL 32208.

In addition to the newest store, Save-A-Lot currently operates 108 stores throughout the state, with locations in Orlando and Tampa.

The opening of Save-A-Lot offers the Jacksonville community affordable, easy access to food and brings 28 jobs full-time and part-time jobs to the area -- many of the store associates live in the local neighborhood. Save-A-Lot is also making a $2,500 donation to Second Harvest North Florida to help with its mission to reduce hunger as part of its commitment to the Jacksonville community.
