Save-A-Lot Opens Its Doors in Essex

ESSEX, Md., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Save-A-Lot food stores, the nation's leading hard discount grocery chain, today opens its first store in Essex. The company's newest store is located at 116 Stemmers Run in Essex, Maryland.

The new store is open seven days a week from 8 AM until 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 8 AM until 8 PM Sunday. Local shoppers can expect to find excellent quality food and save an average of 20 to 40 percent on grocery bills.

In addition to the newest store, Save-A-Lot currently operates 20 stores throughout the state, with 6 locations in Baltimore.

Save-A-Lot is making a $2,500 gift card donation to Eastern Interfaith Outreach Food Pantry to help with its mission to reduce hunger as part of their commitment to the Essex community.
