Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Condemns Attacks on UN Peacekeepers

WASHINGTON, Aug. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir condemned the taking of U.N. peacekeepers in the Golan Heights, as well as the siege being laid against other U.N. personnel.

"These violent actions are condemned in the strongest possible terms," said Ambassador Al-Jubeir. "The taking of hostages and the assault on other peacekeepers violates all international laws, norms and standards."
