Saudi Air Force Participates in Military Operations Over Syria

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued the following statement today:

The Royal Saudi Air Force today participated in military operations over Syria to confront terrorism emanating from Daash (ISIS). These efforts will support the moderate Syrian opposition as part of an international coalition to defeat terrorism, which is a deadly evil afflicting the world, and the fraternal Syrian people to restore security, unity and to rebuild their suffering nation.
