Saucy Tandem: Miami Airport-area Buffalo Wings Teams with U-Haul

MIAMI, Feb. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Buffalo Wings restaurant is known for its baby back ribs, its tropical libations and, of course, those spicy little numbers for which the Miami establishment is named.

Hagins went to college in the Miami area along with U-Haul Area Field Manager Raul Perez, so the two know the region well. Hagins said the airport has been expanding ever since the restaurant opened in 1992, and with that expansion comes more customers.

Buffalo Wings has 1.8 acres of land, so the spacious lot gave Hagins and Nazareth the space to partner with U-Haul.

Buffalo Wings was previously Bennigan's, an Irish-themed chain, but when the business dissolved and Hagins bought the restaurant, it was suggested he should change the name as well as the menu.

Hagins and Nazareth are longtime friends. They go to the same synagogue in Miami and when Nazareth owned a bar and grill by the beach, he hired Hagins as the manager. Since they met at the synagogue, they tend to get involved in community outreach programs such as serving food on Thanksgiving and working with the Plant a Tree program.
