SAS Wins SILVER and BRONZE at the Corporate & Financial Awards 2013

SAS's excellence in communicating with the City and its influencers was honoured at Communicate magazine's Corporate & Financial Awards 2013. SAS won a SILVER award in the category of Best Corporate Website for its work with Herbert Smith Freehills and a BRONZE award for Sainsbury's in the category of Best Printed Report. SAS were also highly commended for both Alcatel Lucent and Aviva for their online reports.
For Herbert Smith Freehills, SAS were commissioned to create a corporate website to coincide with the launch of the merged business which incorporated the new brand and visual identity (also developed by SAS). The merger formed a new law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills, with the new entity officially launching on 1st October 2012, resulting in a global, leading, full-service international legal practice with a network across Europe and the globe with the world at the heart of their global combinations.
Sainsbury's has made strong progress despite the tough economic conditions of 2012. Along with detailing the strategy, the 2012 report expressed Sainsbury's core values and the areas of focus that underpin value and growth of the company. The focus of the report is on the values set out by the business, providing easily accessible content to their audience.
The Corporate & Financial Awards, established by Communicate magazine, is the industry benchmark of companies' communication with the City and its influencers. The awards provided an opportunity for staff, companies, agencies and beneficiaries alike, to see their efforts recognised and to celebrate excellence in all aspects of city communication. The entries were judged by a panel of experienced in-house practitioners and journalists in order to celebrate excellence in all aspects of City communication - to the buyside, the analysts, business & financial journalists, and the wider stakeholder communities that influence them.
The Corporate & Financial Awards have been running since 2012. Now in 2013, its second year running, the awards were distributed at a gala dinner at The Victory Services Club, London and were hosted by financial analyst at CooperCity, Louise Cooper.
