SAP PRESS Launches New Book Subscription Programs for SAP Professionals
QUINCY, Mass., Nov. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP PRESS announced today that customers can now purchase access to its books via self-service online subscriptions. The subscription programs allow customers flexible pricing in the form of monthly or annual payments, as well as the ability to purchase and manage subscriptions online.
Two types of subscription plans are included in this initiative: Full and Topic. Full Subscriptions will give readers access to the entire SAP PRESS catalog, including bestselling books such as SAP HANA Security Guide, SAP Solution Manager — Practical Guide, SAP S/4HANA: An Introduction, SAP Fiori Implementation and Development and SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting Certification Guide: Application Associate Exam. Topic Subscriptions are specific to a single topic, such as Logistics, Finance, Programming, and others. Both subscription types are updated monthly with relevant new titles.
"This has already saved me a few times," said Fred Verheul, consultant at SOA People Nederland N.V. "[I] fully recommend to any serious SAP professional."
With the ability to purchase online, customers will now be able to obtain a license at any moment, and, in the case of Topic Subscriptions, easily access additional topics if the need arises. Other benefits of SAP PRESS subscriptions include personalization of one's library through bookmarking, annotating and printing pages; easy full-text search across all books; and the ability to download additional coding, templates and figures.
"Our subscription was initially rolled out as a B2B offering: larger teams, annual subscription terms, lengthy license agreements," said Florian Zimniak, managing director for Rheinwerk Publishing. "But SAP professionals increasingly think as consumers: They want access quickly, and they demand flexibility in terms of scope and length of their subscription.
"Our web shop gives them just that: Instant access, on a month-to-month plan. With the SAP PRESS subscription, readers don't have to worry whether the particular piece of information they are looking for is 'outside the scope of this book.' As long as we're talking about SAP, there is no 'outside' with the SAP PRESS subscription. You have access to everything you need to fulfill your project tasks."
Full Subscriptions are being sold for $64.99 a month or $649 annually, while Topic Subscriptions are being sold for $29.99 a month or $299 annually.
