Santander Donates $335,000 To Typhoon Haiyan Relief
Customers and team members are encouraged to join the effort by offering their support through individual donations to the American Red Cross
BOSTON, Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Santander Group will support relief efforts for those affected by the recent disaster in the Philippines with a $335,000 donation. The funds will be earmarked for health and medical aid in the areas hardest hit by Typhoon Haiyan.

To further assist the relief efforts, Santander will provide an easy to use connection from its website, www.santanderbank.com, so that its 1.7 million customers and over 9,000 team members can easily make contributions to the American Red Cross. By following a few simple steps, individual donations dedicated to emergency aid for the Philippines can be sent directly to the American Red Cross.
Santander will also accept individual donations under $250 at any of its more than 700 branches on behalf of the American Red Cross.
