SAN JOSE, Calif., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Members of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® will join REALTORS® from across California to meet with legislators at the state Capitol on June 9 to discuss issues affecting the real estate industry.
Legislative Day is an annual event organized by the California Association of REALTORS®. The day's activities include a morning brief by key legislators, office visits of assemblymembers and senators, and a forum on hot policy, legal and regulatory issues.
Members of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® will meet with legislators who represent their districts, including assemblymembers Alberto Torrico, Ira Ruskin, Paul Fong, Joe Coto, Jim Beall, Bill Monning, and Anna Caballero, and senators Ellen Corbett, Joe Simitian, and Elaine Alquist.
"Our members take time out of their busy schedule to participate in Legislative Day," said Karl Lee, President of the Santa Clara County Association. "They provide legislators first-hand information on the housing market, speak for consumers, and push for policy or legislation that stimulates and strengthens our economy. We are proud of their passion and commitment."
