Santa Clara County REALTORS® Foundation Donates More Than $14,000 to Charitable Causes
SAN JOSE, Calif., Dec. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Santa Clara County REALTORS® Foundation raised and donated more than $14,000 in cash and toys to an elementary school and an adoptive children's organization this holiday season. The foundation is the charitable arm of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® (SCCAOR).
Katherine R. Smith Elementary School in San Jose received $5,000 in cash, and the Santa Clara County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association $9,300 in cash and toys. The foundation raised the money and toys through a Pumpkin Auction and a toy drive. In addition, the foundation is conducting a food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank.
