Santa Barbara Bay(R) Tosses Up Tips for Festive Super Bowl Entertaining
Colts and Saints Fans Score Ideas on Easy, Tasteful Entertaining from Best-selling Dip Brand
DALLAS, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- With Super Bowl XLIV less than a week away, the culinary experts at Santa Barbara Bay, makers of best-selling refrigerated deli dips available nationwide, urge Super Bowl hosts and hostesses to keep the menu fresh, fun and festive while minimizing time in the kitchen.
No spoons, no forks, no problem
If you're looking to score, skip the five-course meal and opt for a classic array of appetizers served buffet-style. Relax the atmosphere and make the party even more fun by serving appetizers with plates and napkins in your favorite team's colors.
Impress with Less
Down, set, hut! Minimize your time in the kitchen by serving items that can be enjoyed right out of the package. For example, an array of crackers and crudites, served with your favorite packaged dips and spreads, can be set out at the beginning of the game and simply replenished as needed. Colts fans, try serving Santa Barbara Bay's new All Natural Greek Yogurt Dips made with Voskos Greek Yogurt, a healthier alternative to sour-cream based dips that hosts can feel good about serving to the entire family.
Scratch "from scratch"
With all of the fantastic pre-made dishes available at the supermarket, there is no need to cook entirely from scratch. In fact, many dishes can be "homemade" with help from store-bought ingredients, saving you time and sparing you the possibility of a cooking disaster. These simple recipes will ensure you spend less time cooking and more time in front of the TV at this year's party:
