Sansay Successfully Completes Interoperability With BroadSoft's BroadWorks Platform
Sansay VSXi Session Controller is BroadWorks Compliant
SAN DIEGO, Jan. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Sansay ™ Inc., a leading provider of high performance IP communications infrastructure, announced today the interoperability of the Sansay VSXi Session Border Controller with the BroadWorks® voice application server provided by BroadSoft, Inc. Service providers are assured of interoperability using the Sansay VSXi in conjunction with BroadWorks, enabling highly scalable and secure delivery of business, consumer, and wireless IP communications services.
BroadSoft® is the leading global provider of software that enables mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to deliver real-time communications over their IP networks. The Sansay VSXi provides a suite of session control applications that complement BroadWorks in the delivery of hosted IP communications services, including Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, Residential VoIP, and Cloud-based Unified Communications. The Sansay VSXi provides both subscriber-facing and inter-carrier functions and can be deployed in high availability, geo-redundant configurations commonly specified by BroadWorks operators.
Sansay VSXi is designed to help communications service providers take a services-led strategy as they migrate their networks to IP. "Service providers want session control infrastructure that lets them more quickly enter new markets and respond to customer needs," said Dave Walters, vice president of marketing, Sansay. "The VSXi brings flexibility that helps service providers grow – helping them cost-effectively add seats, launch new service offerings, and turn up new points of presence."
"We are pleased that the Sansay VSXi has completed interoperability with BroadWorks and believe this will speed time to market for our service provider customers that want proven, interoperable hosted unified communications solutions," said David Bukovsky, vice president products, BroadSoft. "Interoperability between the Sansay VSXi and BroadWorks enables service providers to offer enterprises compelling and cost-effective hosted IP solutions."
The Sansay VSXi meets the performance demands of BroadWorks operators for scalability, flexibility, and reliability for session handling. These performance measures, together with BroadSoft's rigorous interoperability process, will provide BroadWorks operators with added confidence as they deploy the VSXi for session control applications. More information about the VSXi interoperability with BroadWorks can be found in the VSXi Partner Configuration Guide, available on BroadSoft's Xchange portal.
The recent interoperability of the VSXi follows the successful completion of interoperability testing of Sansay's SPX session controller with BroadWorks in 2007. As a part of Sansay's continued support of the BroadSoft service provider ecosystem, Sansay is offering free evaluation systems and support to qualified customers for a limited time.
