Sanmina-SCI India Design Center Awarded Latest Certifications for the Defense and Aerospace Industry

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sanmina-SCI Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM), a leading manufacturing solutions company making some of the world's most complex and valuable electronic and mechanical products, today announced that its India Design Center (IDC) located in the Madras Special Economic Zone (MEPZ) has been accredited with AS9100-Rev C for Avionics Systems and ISO 9001-2008 Certification.

These certifications further enhance Sanmina-SCI's capabilities to support the complex requirements of the defense aviation and space markets. Revision C broadens the definitions of AS9100 criteria, creating more stringent controls throughout the manufacturing process and ensuring greater safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction along the entire product lifecycle.
