SANLUIS Rassini Recognized by General Motors as a 2013 Supplier of the Year Winner
Rassini Frenos Only Mexican-Based Supplier to Receive the Award in 2012 and 2013
PLYMOUTH, Mich., March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SANLUIS Rassini was named a GM Supplier of the Year during its 22nd annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 12. The event was held at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Mich.
GM's exclusive Supplier of the Year honor was presented to only 68 suppliers worldwide who have consistently exceeded GM's expectations and created outstanding value. This is the second consecutive year SANLUIS Rassini's brakes division has received the award. Rassini's suspension division has been named a GM Supplier of the Year on nine occasions.
"Our suppliers play a huge role in helping GM deliver compelling vehicles to our customers," said Grace Lieblein, GM vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. "Supplier of the Year winners have outstanding track records for consistently meeting our business needs, while also supporting our cultural priorities."
Less than 1 percent of GM's suppliers around the world receive the Supplier of the Year award. Winners are recognized for delivering innovative technology, superior quality, timely crisis management and competitive, total-enterprise cost solutions.
"It is with great pleasure that we accept this award from General Motors," said Eugenio Madero, CEO, SANLUIS Rassini North America. "They are a key customer of ours, and we are focused on partnering with them to provide solutions in both suspension and brakes for future vehicle platforms. This accolade confirms our dedication to our customers, and I'd like to congratulate the entire Rassini team for their hard work, as every team member played a role in our receiving this award for the second year in a row."
