Sandra Bouckley Named One of 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandra Bouckley, Vice President of Manufacturing for GKN Driveline North America, was named one of Automotive News' '100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry'.
Every five years, Automotive News recognizes the top 100 leading women in the North American auto industry, a tradition that began in 2000. This year, the celebratory gala was held on Nov. 9 at the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit. The 2015 list includes top executives at automakers, suppliers and dealerships.
This is the second time Bouckley has made the '100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry' list, having previously been acknowledged in 2005.
"While it is an honor to receive this recognition, I am even more moved by Automotive News' continuous effort to recognize women within the automotive industry," said Bouckley. "I admire the women on this list and I believe we have the opportunity to pave the way for future female automotive executives."
Bouckley, who was named VP of manufacturing for GKN Driveline North America earlier this year, leads all manufacturing and production excellence activities for the company. Previously, Bouckley has held positions as the Vice President Operations, Electrical Systems and Services Group for Eaton, Global Director of Operations for Tyco Electrical and Metal Products, Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Chrysler Corp., and plant manager at various Chrysler facilities.
"Sandra has quickly become an integral part of our team and a major force in our continued manufacturing excellence," said Robert Willig, President of GKN Driveline Americas. "This is well-deserved recognition for her outstanding work and leadership within the automotive industry. Her influence and outstanding contribution helps drive GKN's success and is a positive influence in the manufacturing industry as a whole."
