Sandi Fredrickson Named General Manager for Dallas/Mesquite Property

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., May 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Veteran White Lodging employee Sandi Fredrickson has been promoted to general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Mesquite, Texas.

With a BA in public relations from Texas State University and currently working toward her master's in hospitality management at the University of Houston, Fredrickson has been with White Lodging since 2004.  She started as a front office manager at the Austin Airport Marriott South and, after two years, was moved to the front office manager position at the Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott located at the downtown Austin convention center.

In 2008, Fredrickson was promoted to cluster sales manager of White Lodging's 650-room, four-property cluster at the Houston Galleria – the Courtyard by Marriott, the Residence Inn by Marriott, Hilton's Homewood Suites, and the Hyatt Summerfield Suites.

Fredrickson's most recent position was as operations manager of the 190-room Courtyard by Marriott at the Galleria.
