San Francisco Health Plan Members May Now Choose Brown & Toland Physicians
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective November 1, San Francisco residents with Medi-Cal may now choose Brown & Toland Physicians through San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP).
Earlier this year, Brown & Toland announced a contract with SFHP to participate in its network and provide care for its members. San Francisco residents who are eligible for Medi-Cal, California's federally funded program for low income residents, may now choose a doctor from Brown & Toland's award-winning network of physicians. San Francisco Health Plan, the city's community health plan, serves more than 60,000 residents.
Brown & Toland also is participating in San Francisco Health Plan's Healthy Kids and Healthy Families programs. "We believe that the partnership between San Francisco Health Plan and Brown & Toland will provide the people of San Francisco with high quality affordable care," said Richard Fish, Senior Vice President of New Business Development for Brown & Toland Physicians.
