San Francisco Elks to Start City Academy Field Studies Program

CHICAGO, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- With some help from the Elks National Foundation, the charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the San Francisco Elks will establish a new field studies program at City Academy. This will include year-round activities, as well as a week-long camping trip to Lake Tahoe.

San Francisco Elks/ City Academy Field Studies Program will be funded by an Impact Grant awarded to the San Francisco Elks by the Elks National Foundation. Impact Grants are the newest addition to the Elks National Foundation's Community Investments Program. They are competitive grants designed to help Elks make a difference in their community. This year, San Francisco Elks Lodge No. 3 is one of 49 recipients nationwide to receive an Impact Grant. The grants range from $2,500 to $10,000.
