As part of the Stop the Bleed scholarship program, SAM Medical is sponsoring Stop the Bleed scholarships specifically for students attending high school in Oregon, Washington, California and Texas, with a top prize in each state of $3,000 to the student, and 30 Stop the Bleed kits going the winning students' schools. The second and third place winners in each state will receive $1,500 and $500, with 15 and 5 Stop the Bleed kits going to their respective schools. Students who are interested in entering need to apply no later than Friday, May 31, 2019. Winners will be announced on June 11, 2019.
