Sam Ash Music's Las Vegas Store Hosts the Roland V-Drums® Contest National Finals on November 4th at 7:00 pm, with a Special Appearance by Blue Man Group!

HICKSVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 3, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Sam Ash Music, America's premier full-line music store chain and Roland, the world leader in electronic percussion, are pleased to host the Roland V-Drums® Contest National Finals at Sam Ash Music in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year's event is co-sponsored by Blue Man Group, REMO, Drum Workshop and DRUM! magazine. It all happens Thursday, November 4th at 7:00 pm. The event is open to the public and admission is free.  Competition will be fierce as six talented drummers from around the country will perform an original drum performance exclusively on the Roland TD-20SX V-Pro Series V-Drums and the Roland OCTAPAD SPD-30 Percussion Pad. The grand prize winner will receive a top of the line TD-20SX V-Drums Kit, complete with amplification, hardware and custom shell wraps, courtesy of Roland, Drum Workshop, and REMO, Inc. In addition to the contest, there will be live guest performances by Blue Man Group, Thomas Lang and Johnny Rabb.
