HICKSVILLE, N.Y., Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sam Ash Music Corp., the nation's leading full-line music store chain, has expanded its music lessons program to its stores in King of Prussia, Pa., and Margate, Fla. The 88-year-old company launched its in-store music lessons program two years ago and now offers lessons in 20 stores nationwide.

"Music education in the U.S. has been in a state of crisis for some time now, with many school districts being forced to cut music programs from their budgets," said Richard Ash, CEO at Sam Ash Music Corp. In the past year alone, Sam Ash has provided more than 40,000 lessons in music and technology that range from popular instruments such as guitar, keyboards and drums, to band and orchestral instruments, as well as classes for singers and deejays.
