Salus Alpha Supports the Introduction of the First Universal Logo for Human Rights With Cinema for Peace in New York 2011
The Presentation of the Competition Winner for a Universal Logo for Human Rights Took Place on Friday 23 September 2011 at Guastavino's in New York
VIENNA and NEW YORK, September 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
'Cinema for Peace' and some international stars of film gathered to show their support for global human rights on this evening as well as celebrating the introduction of the first universal human rights logo and the power of cinema in highlighting social injustice. Renowned actors have shown their support for 'Cinema for Peace' over the years and Sean Penn, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Richard Gere, Nicole Kidman and Susan Sarandon have already spoken at the event. 250 guests gathered at the sophisticated location of Guastavino's in New York yesterday in support of this good cause.
Oliver Prock, CEO of Salus Alpha, an internationally active asset management group, was the main sponsor of the event and together with the 'Cinema for Peace Foundation' and host Jaka Bizilj welcomed numerous guests of honour who included actor Robert de Niro with his daughter Drena De Niro, singer Jessye Norman and Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle from Germany.
